How we collect and check the data

What the directory contains

Organizations from Varna and the region — companies, NGOs, community cultural centres (chitalishta), schools, universities, public institutions, media and clusters: name, sector, type, a short description, website, social media profiles, cluster memberships and tags. We do not publish phone numbers, emails or contact persons.

Where the data comes from

• The organizations themselves — via the "Add organization" form or when correcting an entry.
• Public sources — the organizations' websites and profiles, public registers, publications by clusters, institutions and media.
• Cluster memberships — from the clusters' public member lists.

How we check it

1. New suggestions and automatically collected entries enter as "suggested" — they are not visible on the site.
2. A member of our team checks the entry (does the organization exist, do the website and description match) and approves or returns it.
3. Possible duplicates (same UIC or website) are flagged for manual review.
4. The date an organization was added is shown on its profile.
5. Entries carried over from the first version of the directory (2026) are being reviewed again step by step.

Artificial intelligence

Some descriptions, the English translation of the directory and tag suggestions were prepared with the help of artificial intelligence tools — by default locally, on our own hardware in Varna. We disclose this here and on the organization pages (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Art. 50(4)). New entries are published after human review; KAGAMI EOOD holds editorial responsibility for the published content. If you spot an inaccuracy, tell us and we will fix it.

Partners

The ★ "Varna Sega (Varna Now) partner" badge means the organization takes part in Varna Sega with a paid package. It does not affect ordering or search.

Correction and removal

Every profile has a link "Is this your organization? Correct or remove". You can also write to office@kagami.bg. We reply within one month.

Open data

The whole public directory is available as a file: /data/ecosystem.json, and a short machine-readable summary at /llms.txt.

Updates

The site is rebuilt when new or changed entries are approved. The date of the last update is shown on the home page.
